Dani's Updates - June 18

I completely forgot to post yesterday! Between the two kids and a coloring book submission I had little time. 

WHAT I'M READING 

Lots of picture books. The summer reading program has started! 

WHAT I'M WRITING/DRAWING

Working on polishing a coloring book to send out tonight. It's mostly done, but I want to add a few bells and whistles. Anything later tonight would be awful! I think I might brew some coffee today... even if it is decaf. Will have some more clothing for Friday, however it may not be early Friday!

Thursday 06/18-  Finished the updates. Finish coloring book and send!

Friday 06/19- Drawing, drawing drawing! Also posting new clothes for paper dolls.

Saturday 06/20- Lots of family fun.

Sunday  06/21 - Still haven't had the sweet tea. I'm upset!

Monday  06/22- Chugging a full pot of coffee.

Tuesday  06/23 - Working on thinking about doing something this day.

Wednesday  06/24 - Update Day!

What's Up Wednesday! February 04

Been working hard getting things cleaned at my new place today. I'm so very happy to have lots of room at my new place. I'm also very happy to be getting rid of a lot of junk!

Next week will start my "Bad" Picture Book Blog Hop! Me and several of my writer and illustrator friends will be sharing their picture books from High School or earlier. Monday I'm starting everything off so look forward to that. I also will try to post some old artwork this week keeping with the early works theme. These works will likely be from college and beyond, but I'll see what I haven't shown yet!

WHAT I'M READING

I haven't been reading much this week. I'm behind on a few things. I'm hoping I'll have lots of time to read soon.

WHAT I'M WRITING/DRAWING

I did a fair job last week with my artwork. I did some quick sketches for a dummy I'm working on. Only problem is they mostly need re-worked quite a bit. Dummies don't have to be perfect, but they do have to have drawings (or sketches) that are all worked on evenly.

Sunday  02/08 - Possibly moving things around in my new place or cleaning my current place.

Monday  02/09 - Cleaning and finding all the magical dust bunnies. Also the "Bad" Picture Book Blog Hop starts today! I will be posting my bad picture book blog today. 

Tuesday  02/10 - TAKING THE DAY OFF and spending time with friends! Becky Fyfe will be posting her "Bad" Picture Book on her Blog today!

What's Up Wednesday! - I'm Still Alive

I didn't plan to get sick (no one does), but it happened anyway. I think I had just finished a cold the last time I posted, and I got another one right after. I was really ill right up until December 24th (slept all day) and was feeling ok on the 25th (thank goodness!). How was everyone's Christmas? We had a great one here!

I am feeling better now, but still have quite the cold. I missed the December 19th interview. I have several other interviews planned, but have to go through my email later to figure out the order!

I finally squeezed in writing my story for the Anything Goes Anthology. I think there is a couple more months of work on that. I'll let you know more about this later!

The free Monster Chores coloring book is coming out soon! I'll make a post for this once it's released. Jennyann has a couple more things to do before it's officially released. 

I have a TON of things I'm planning this year. I will make a post about this by Monday (or if it's several posts I'll start them by Monday). I'm hoping this will be the best year ever for both me and my blog!
