A Baby Dragon Illustration!

I didn't get a chance to do an interview for this week. I thought I'd share an illustration that I did back in September. This painting is entitled: "The Journey".  The original was done in watercolor and ink. I'm not sure why I haven't shared it yet, but here it is!

Finally Some Artwork!

I am almost positive that I never got around to showing you this artwork! I was posting them on Facebook a few days ago and realized that I never posted them here. What's that all about? Anyway here they are. These are two of my favorite paintings that I did for VCON back in October. I'm going to start thinking about VCON early this year, so I'm not swamped that month. The theme is "Time Travel" so it's going to be fun and tough to come up with images this year! I hope you like the illustrations!

Fairy with Ribbons

Here is one of my favorite paintings from my current art show. I have been working on this for some time, but until recently I haven't had a successful final painting. I don't know if I really have any process drawings to show for this, because it's been so long since I did them!

What's Up With This Post?

No, this post isn't at your regularly scheduled time. I'M SORRY! I completely forgot. It's a bad habit of mine, I know! I don't honestly know what I was doing yesterday that made me forget!

Never fear because Interviews are here! Yes, I will be doing lots and lots of interviews in the upcoming weeks. I've sent out a lot of interviews and have enough interviews for 6 weeks to a month! Yay! Thank you for everyone who answered the questions for my interviews!

What I'm Reading
A bunch of kid's books over and over and over and (you get the idea) to my son.

What I'm Writing/Drawing

I had a bad day yesterday for drawing. I'll blame it on my taxes and leave it at that. I'm planning on scanning in some of the images I did finish so that I have references when I finally go to do my web comic.

I'm going to do Doodle Day this month! I've already got a drawing done.

I am also going to attempt NAPIBOWRIWEE http://paulayoo.com/napi/ Which takes place May 1-7. In this you write one picture book a day for a week. I accidently wrote one today with my son!

Winter Lovelies

A couple of more winter lovelies for you today. Today's little guys are a Panda and a Snowman.
These are both very small drawings. 2.5" x 3.5"

Snowball Fight

Quackers and Dooley engaged in a snowball fight. They were both done individually and weren't meant to be together, but I think in some ways I did picture them together. I don't know how cold it is wherever you are reading this blog from, but it's fairly warm here. They must have gone up one of the mountains to get that snow.

A (Sort of) Christmas Tree

This is a painting of REM. This painting is 2.5" x 3.5". I really liked working in this size but some of these drawings I wish I had done at a larger size.

It's an... Art Card Painting!

Around Christmas time I did a lot of Art Cards.  These images were 2.5" x 3.5" and done in watercolour. I've been meaning to share them with you. I just realized that I hadn't shared these (or just about anything else I've done lately) and got right to work posting. This image is (of course) a lot smaller than what you see on your screen. I scanned them in at a high dpi (600) so that I could enlarge them later for prints. This one is one of my favorite of the bunch. I know you've seen it already as a colouring page, but here is the final image as well! The character depicted is Grunt from The Pattern Pals. I will be posting more paintings soon!
