Day 18 of the 30 in 30

I just have a simple little mouse for you today. I was out of cut paper in my art studio so I decided to experiment with the pieces I had. For this one I painted the whole thing blue and then used a paper towel to erase the middle. It looked like a mouse so that's how I finished him off.

This paintings is for two challenges: #30paintingsin30days and #kidlitart28  Leslie's site for the 30 in 30: https://www.saetastudio.com/february-30-in-30-blog  This image is 2.5"x3.5" colored with Daniel Smith watercolors on Arches Watercolor Paper.

  1. Oh, what a darling little mouse. The “erasing” method used to create it is quite clever and something I’ve not thought of before. It’s an un-painted painting. :)

  2. It is an unpainted painting! I didn't think of this technique, but I've honestly never used it for anything before.
